Point park appears to have finished its extended construction phase (from Sidelined) and the full surface of the inadequate 1900mm (6 feet) width path is now available. The addition of some rather obscure signs isn’t helping however.
Completely ignoring the schedules of Australian road signs or the easily recognised signs of the Vienna Convention on Road Signs to which Australia closely follows, this informational only sign eschews both easily recognised symbols or the accepted ordering of information in danger warning signs. From the park side it is cluttering the space while duplicating the purpose of the authentic shared path sign already present.
Encapsulating the information and adding more distractions is not going to improve the safety of this path. Thanks to Mr P for the tipoff on this one.
