Amongst the visually busy city of Melbourne and its dense road signs the occasional surprise pops out, but you need to look rather closely.

Such a simple alternative to the standard crossing signals that doesn’t add any confusion or complexity while maintaining the clear information. How could anyone disagree with having these included in a representative (50:50) ratio in new installations?
